Jr Rock Band Camp (Ages 6.5 - 8, for students entering 2nd to 4th grade)

Camp Description:
RMC's Rock Band Camps are specially created by our outstanding educators to foster the interest and love of pop/rock/rap music in the early grades while addressing their age-appropriate needs. Singing, dancing, rapping, and making music are part of every day, right along with instruction on high quality instruments (pianos, guitars, and drumsets). It's everything you hope for in a rock band experience PLUS all the extras for building summer camp memories. From icebreakers, spirit awards and water fights to quality instruments, rockin' music, and live performances - we say it every year, but once again, this year will be even better than the last!

NEW THIS YEAR: Younger students can experience the full rock band experience at an age-appropriate pace; two full-time teachers will be dedicated solely to this age group. Everyone will love our newly-renovated performance space. Also, extended hours for drop-off and pick-up now available for an additional fee.

All Camps Include:
- Group Instrument lessons in Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums and Vocals
- Musical Styles including Rock, R&B and Pop
- Start up and perform in a band
- A final day concert on stage in our performance room

Rock Band Camp (Ages 9-12, for students entering 5th grade and above)

Camp Description:
Our most popular summer camp is back with some amazing additions. Small teacher:student ratios, degreed educators and professional gigging musicians work together to create a spectacular experience as well as an amazing Friday Night performance. This camp is everything you can hope for in a musical experience PLUS everything needed to build summer camp memories. From icebreakers, spirit awards and water fights to quality instruments, rockin' music, sizzling choreography and live performances - we say it every year, but once again, this year will be even better than the last!

NEW THIS YEAR: Age requirements allow for a more sophisticated experience in the upper grades. Everyone will love our newly renovated performance space. Plus, extended hours for drop-off and pick-up now available for an additional fee.

All Camps Include:

- Musical Styles including Rock, R&B and Pop
- Start up and perform in a band

Do I need to own an instrument?
All instruments and equipment are provided by RMC. Students can enjoy learning the instruments without having one at home, and do not need to bring their instrument to camp.

How much does it cost?
Tuition is $399 per Session. special discounts may be available if booking multiple Sessions in advance. For more information call: 619-225-9597.

What are the hours? Monday-Friday 9am to 3pm (Early drop-off from 7:30-9am is now available for an addition $12 per day or $50 for the week as well as Late pick-up from 3-5pm Monday-Thursday for $15 per day or $60 for the week). What about lunch and snacks?
RMC will provide bottled water throughout the day. Lunches will be available for purchase the morning of each day for $8 per day or $30 for the week. Snacks are also available all week long for $1-$2 each. Campers who do not purchase lunch from RMC will need to pack a non-perishable lunch each day.

"Geared really for older elementary through middle school, but is good for anyone who wants to learn an instrument. David, Leslie, and the entire RMC team are GREAT with kids! This camp is all about the rock band experience - teaching the kids keyboard, drums and the electric guitar. Fun time is taken up either with field games at the local Liberty Station park or playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band video games. The kids love this experience. They also offer music instruction (individual or group lessons) for a really reasonable price. No child is left behind with RMC because of a lack of funds - they'll work to find a scholarship opportunity for your kids if there is a need! Great people - great instruction!"
