"Rec music is really like a family: everyone gets along real well and the classes are a lot of fun. I took a drum class and our instructor, David, was awesome. They keep the place well stocked with drum kits, pianos and guitars, and last time I was there they even had steel drums, which were a lot of fun to jam on. "Whether you've never played an instrument before or if you have many years of musicianship under your belt, Recreational Music Center is a great place to check out! They design music instruction with the student in mind and have a sincere desire to help students succeed. After a break from piano playing for a few years, I decided to find a piano teacher to help me get my fingers moving again. I have been taking private piano lessons with Leslie for almost a year now and she is amongst the best piano teachers with whom I have worked. She is passionate about music and it shows in her teaching. Leslie encourages me to work at my own pace and we have a lot of fun in our lessons, which I greatly appreciate. "Only place I know of like it. Why is it unique, because of the group atmosphere and their ability to somehow get these different kids to focus and play together. I like that if they need to they can keep one group on their headsets playing together while another group gets the focused attention they need from the teacher. Why we love RMC is principally due to David and Leslie - they are fantastic with the kids! Keep doing what you are doing! We love you!"
